Our charity is extremely fortunate to the have the support and endorsement of the following people. Our Ambassadors generously give their time to spread the Music for All message and we are very grateful to all of them!
We are proud to have the Member of Parliament for Hove and Portslade, Mike Weatherley as our latest Ambassador! Mike said ;
“In my role as a Member of Parliament, I run a national music competition, Rock the House, which champions intellectual property rights of musicians and highlights the importance of live music. I am an avid supporter of the music industry, regularly attending gigs and festivals. I enjoy music from every genre, although I really am a heavy metal fan at heart. Each time I see bands up on that stage, giving it their all, I really am in awe of their musical talent – and keen to learn guitar myself! I am proud to be a Patron of such a fantastic charity.”.
We are delighted that Gordon Giltrap has joined Music for All as an ambassador.
“As a nine year old I was exposed to the sound of the guitar, from then on right up to the present day it has been, and continues to be a journey of wonder and delight .Playing a musical instrument is good for your mental health. It can calm you in times of trouble and is in many ways a form of meditation. Being deeply moved by a piece of music can in my opinion be a spiritual experience.
Making music can be life changing and inspiring. For that reason I feel privileged to be a patron of this worthwhile charity”.
We are very proud to announce that Al Murray (aka The Pub Landlord) has just joined the charity as a new Ambassador.
“Hi I’m Al Murray and I don’t know if you know this about me, I like to play the drums. I know I was incredibly lucky to get the chance to play when I was kid. Music for All is a fantastic charity that wants to give everyone the chance to learn a musical instrument. Support Music for All because music enriches lives, it changes lives. If you give us your support then we will get the chance to make more musicians”.
Kill It Kid announced as new Ambassadors for Music for All
One of the most important new bands in recent years, Kill it Kid have just released their second album to huge acclaim. The band said:
"Music for all is an amazing charity. Any organisation that pours time and money into encouraging people, especially young people to play music….. we are behind it! Playing music has given us identity and a voice. We hope young budding musicians will find theirs. Raising up young musicians is very important, if it wasn't for people inspiring or giving us the opportunity to play, we would never be where we are today. KILL IT KID"
