Music for All turns 30 — and we’re marking this milestone with our most ambitious goal yet.
For three decades, we’ve been transforming lives across the UK by improving access to music making. From instrument donations to financial grants and free ‘Learn to Play’ experiences, thousands of people have begun or continued their musical journeys thanks to your support.
Demand for our support is increasing dramatically. That’s why our 30th birthday appeal is focused on raising the vital funds we need to reach our target by May 2027, and we’re inviting our whole community to get involved.
Throughout the year, supporters across the UK will be taking on a ‘30 for 30 Challenge’ to celebrate our 30th birthday and raise funds for our work. It could be 30 hours of practice, 30 people making music together for 30 weeks, 30 cakes baked, 30 miles walked — anything built around the number 30.
Every fundraising challenge, every donation, every effort helps us reach more people who would otherwise miss out on the life‑changing power of music making.
So why not join us in making this milestone year our most impactful yet? Together, we can ensure that music making remains accessible to all.
