Music for All were pleased to award Initium Arts in South Lanarkshire with funds to support their community choirs.
Initium Arts run four community choirs across Scotland, with a laser focus on inclusion with their choirs with no age limits or restrictions. Their goal is to make people happy : they pride themselves on providing a safe and expressive environment for their members. Since receiving funding from Music for All, they have been able to grow their membership in all four choirs; they are proud to have brought them all together in a summer concert (see video below).
The funding from Music for All has allowed us to share our information further and wider than would have been possible without it and we are hopeful that by the end of the year we will have been able to increase our membership further!
