Music for All’s commitment

Music for All has over 30 years experience of changing lives through music. We are dedicated to ensuring the multiple benefits of making music are available to all.

Considerable research evidence shows how music making can improve the health, wellbeing and educational outcomes at any stage of a music maker’s life.

Every Year, Music for All demonstrates its commitment to its advocacy work by:

Providing up to 1,000 free Learn to Play opportunities across the UK
Donating over 200 instruments to disadvantaged individuals/groups
Providing central access to research highlighting the considerable benefits of making music
Awarding over £155,000 in grants to deprived and marginalised community music makers
Awarding over £56,000 in grants to educational establishments to enhance their music making provision
