Leave a Legacy

With a gift to Music for All in your will, you can honour your love for music and leave a lasting legacy that supports future generations of disadvantaged music-makers. Your gift will make a meaningful, positive impact and help us continue our important work by:

  • Helping aspiring musicians experience the life-affirming benefits music can bring for years to come.
  • Ensure the long-term provision of free learn to play experiences and awards and grants for those with restricted access to musical instruments and lessons.

We understand that leaving a legacy is personal, and you may wish to remain anonymous. However, we encourage you to contact us so we can thank you and keep you informed about Music for All’s work.

Every contribution is appreciated, and we’re happy to discuss your intentions to leave a gift. We can provide the support you need to fulfil your wishes. However you choose to give, we will be extremely grateful to receive your donation. 

If you’re writing or updating your will, you can choose to leave: 

A residuary gift – a share or percentage of your estate after loved ones are cared for.

A cash gift – a fixed sum of money.

Write your will with your chosen legal firm or will writer

There are four simple steps to help you set up your gift:

Draw up your will

The Law Society provides guidance on finding a legal firm. Alternatively, the Institute of Professional Will Writers can support you in finding a professional will writer.

Consider your assets

You will need to draw up a list of your assets and debts (these include property, cash, savings, shares, pension funds, loans, debts including credit cards and a mortgage etc).

Decide who you’d like to remember in your will

This list should include names of individuals and organisations, and sums in each case.

Include any legacy donations

You may want to consider an award in your name, or like your gift to support a particular need, we’d welcome the opportunity to work with you and create a specific award in your name, please contact help@musicforall.org.uk to discuss your legacy options with us.
