Individuals based in the UK, who can demonstrate the barriers they face and how receiving an award will support their music making, are eligible to apply for an Individual Award if their proposal fits the description of our current award categories. You may apply on behalf of an individual.

Kindly donated by the Hughes family in memory of their much-loved father and husband, this award is open to applications from disadvantaged keyboard and piano players. Applicants must be able to evidence their financial limitations and ways in which the award will support and advance their progress. A grant of up to £2000 is available for this award.
This award is open to individuals in need of an electric guitar to advance their personal music making journey, living in deprived or marginalised areas (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on them and their music making. Applicants can apply for 1 electric guitar. Please note that these do not come with an amp. N.B. We also have a number of left-handed electric guitars available at request if preferred.
This award is open to individuals in need of an electric keyboard to advance their personal music making journey, living in deprived or marginalised areas (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on them and their music making. Applicants can apply for 1 keyboard. Please note that these do not come with a stand or case.
This award is open to individuals in need of a drum kit to advance their personal music making journey, living in deprived or marginalised areas (including but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on them and their music making. Please note each kit includes drumsticks; Electric drum kits are also available on request. Applicants can apply for 1 drum kit with drumsticks. N.B. no drum cases are provided.
