Individuals based in the UK, who can demonstrate the barriers they face and how receiving an award will support their music making, are eligible to apply for the Individual Awards if their proposal fits the description of our current award categories. You may apply on behalf of an individual.
Round 2 is now open for applications, offering instrumental awards in the following categories for individuals:
This award is open to individuals using electro acoustic guitars to support their personal music making journey living in deprived or marginalised areas (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on them and their music making. Please note there are entry level and advanced instruments available, but these do not come with amps. Should you require an amp, you can submit an additional application in the amp/cable category. Applicants can apply for either 1 entry level guitar or 1 advanced level guitar. Please note these do not come with amps. Should you require an amp, you can submit an additional application in the amp/cable category.
This bundle offer is open to applications from individuals using a keyboard to support their personal music making journey, living in a deprived or marginalised area (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on them and their music making. Applicants can apply for 1 keyboard bundle, which includes a stand, stool and headphones. N.B. no keyboard cases are provided.
This award is open to individuals in need of a drum kit to advance their personal music making journey, living a in deprived or marginalised area (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on them and their music making. Please note each kit includes drumsticks; Electric drumkits are also available on request. Applicants can apply for one drumkit with drumsticks. N.B. no drum cases are provided.
This award is open to individuals needing amps and cables for supporting their personal music making journey, living in a deprived or marginalised area (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact this award would have on them and their music making. Applicants can apply for 1 Orange Crush Mini amp and cable.
