Emanuel J Burton is a sought-after drummer, composer, music director and creative entrepreneur. His work focuses on collaborating with rising talents both in the UK & Internationally. Over the recent years, he has immersed himself in the developmental process of artists like FKJ, Ghetts, Cleo Sol, Mansur Brown, Tom Misch, SAULT, ELIZA, Children of Zeus, and Yazmin Lacey. Most recently, he’s been touring and performing with renowned artist and Mercury Prize, BRIT Award Winner & Netflix’s Top Boy actress Little Simz, for her world tour as well as TV appearances and studio recordings.
He collaborative projects have seen him work with Apple TV, Ted Baker, Puma, Nike, The North Face and have performed at Jimmy Fallon, Tiny Desk, Jools Holland, BBC Children in Need Drumathon, Glastonbury Live on BBC (headline of West Holts stage), Reading + Leeds Festival (main stage), BRITs live TV performance and with British film and Oscar winner, Director Steve McQueen CBE performing in his latest movie. He has also been featured as a co-writer alongside Cleo Sol, Inflo, Little Simz, Yazmin Lacey on recent albums that are streaming across all platforms.
In 2022, Emanuel established The Abundance Foundation. A non-profit charity to channel the creative interests of youths. He facilitates panels and masterclasses in schools/universities, sharing his personal and professional experiences in the creative industry so far and encouraging them to follow their dreams.
