We’re thrilled to have supported Caledonia Brass through a Music for All grant, helping them bring the power of live music to NHS dementia wards at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, and Lightburn Hospital.

Their interactive workshops brought sound, laughter, and connection to the wards. From familiar songs to gentle improvisation, each session encouraged patients to express themselves through singing and movement.
Staff shared how much these moments meant, with patients looking forward to each visit and the music bringing a real sense of joy and calm to their day. The musicians, Carly and Elliot, found inspiration and growth through the experience, developing new ways to use music to connect and care.
We’re so proud to see our grants making a difference.
