Music for All recently awarded The Zink Project 8 electric guitars to help them to bring music therapy to people within Derbyshire who have struggled with mental health, isolation, poverty, and homelessness.
Many of Zink’s clients are isolated young men of 16-50 with poor mental health who are unlikely to join existing forms of music therapy. Tutored by a professional music teacher in small groups for a minimal fee the guitars provided (Michael Batio MAB4 Gauntlet and Dean Dimebag ML, Dime from Hell) are designed to help achieve full shredding potential with style! They are used in their School of Rock lessons which give people the opportunity to learn the electric guitar in a small group, bringing them together and building their confidence.
It’s a nice small group, I felt less anxious and enjoyed learning.”

I am really enjoying the Friday guitar lessons. Only a beginner but it gives a real appreciation of my guitar heroes.
