Thanks to Klok Wurk Music and our Power of Music Fund, residents at Barley View Care Home in Rochdale have been experiencing the joy and connection of music.
For residents living with advanced dementia or who are non-verbal, music therapy is transformative. Through 1:1 sessions with easy-to-play instruments and familiar songs, they have become more responsive and engaged. Music’s remarkable ability to unlock memories, spark engagement, and foster joy is particularly powerful for those living with dementia.
